K-8269DP Programmable Video Signal Generator supports Analog/DVI/DisplayPort/SDTV/HDTV/HDMI/MEDIA PLAY signal output. It has standard video regulation and fits into the multimedia display application for LCD TV & Monitor, PDP TV, projector industries all over the world.
The Analog RGB (8MHz~250MHz) output is possible to support graphic display up to 4096 x 2048. Digital output (Single link: 25MHz~165MHz, Dual link: 25~260MHz) is up to UXGA and higher. DisplayPort is a digital display interface standard put forth by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). It delivers higher performance, enables exciting new monitor designs, improves digital display connectivity. K-8269DP provides the DisplayPort standard format and the fixel frequency is up to 270MHz. As to the specification of TV output, the image and chrominance of K-8269DP meets the NTSC and PAL standards. For output interface, the BNC connector provides CVBS composite signal and the S-Video connector provides Y/C signal.
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a digital connection standard designed to provide the highest possible uncompressed video and audio quality over a thin, easy-to-use with a simple, consumer-friendly connector. K-8269DP supports standard HDMI V1.3b function for high definition video image transmission and multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. Out of HDMI V1.3b key features, K-8269DP provides CEC test function, Deep color and 7.1CH digital audio through 3 output ports. HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is a specification to protect digital entertainment content across the HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort interfaces. K-8269DP has etext function, Closed caption and V-chip. etext is generic name for a system of information broadcast as pages of text alongside the evision signal for PAL systems. The Closed caption and V-chip functions are for the NTSC systems. Closed captions are captions that are hidden in the video signal. The V-chip is a standard for placing program rating information on a evision program. So that parents can choose to filter what program their children can watch. In addition MEDIA PLAY, Audio and Image file regeneration from high capacity hard disk are available. According to rising market of multi-media display, the competition and demand for product quality are getting more and more severe as consumers often request and search for higher pixels with less bad dots as well as low cost video display products before purchasing.
